The Furry Tail of Theo

Let me introduce you to 'Theodore Sahara Snow', lovingly known as 'Theo' or 'Cheeky Monkey'

Theo was born on 18th March 2010 in Pentregwenlais, Carmarthenshire and sadly died on 20th January 2021, aged 10 years and 10 months old. This is a picture of Theo at 12 weeks old. He was so small and cute and very fluffy. All Bengal kittens coats start off as being very fluffy, this is known and the 'Fluffy Uglies', although as you can see he was far from ugly.

Theo was an F3 Silver Rosetted Bengal cat, bred by 'Cheeky Monkey Bengals'

His markings are very representative of a Snow Leopard, and everyone who met him thought he was wild and fierce looking till they got to know him. Once he matured, his coat became so soft and silky and had a sheen that looked like silver glitter was sprinkled all over him.

Theo was very vocal, as Bengal cats are. They communicate differently to other cats, they chirp and jutter, growl and purr like a tractor. He was very good at calling 'Mam' or 'Dad' when he needed something, such as food, attention or to go outside. He loved company and was always happiest by my side. He had his own chair at my desk while I worked and his own chair in the garden as he loved the spring and summer. He even had his own blanket and spot on the sofa!!

It's safe to say that Theo was a member of the family (affectionately known as my second son) who was adored, loved, pandered to and spoilt rotten; and we wouldn't change a thing. He is missed terribly and thought of daily. To have had Theo in our lives was a blessing and we consider ourselves to be the luckiest family in the world.
